MIAMI VALLEY — A Flood Advisory has been issued for Butler County until 4:15 a.m.

The Miami Valley region is currently under a Flood Advisory for Butler County until 4:15 a.m. as heavy rain continues to impact the area. This advisory serves as a warning to residents to be cautious and prepared for potential flooding in low-lying areas.

We could see high wind gusts Wednesday after the remnants of Beryl brought heavy rain on Tuesday.

Following the heavy rainfall from the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl on Tuesday, the Miami Valley region is now bracing for high wind gusts on Wednesday. The combination of saturated ground and strong winds poses a risk for potential damage to trees and power lines.

The heavy rain has moved out but the winds will pick up Wednesday.

Following the departure of heavy rainfall, the Miami Valley region will experience an increase in wind speeds on Wednesday. Wind gusts between 35-40 mph are expected, posing a risk for potential damage to trees and power lines due to the already saturated ground.

We would see some light showers as the remnants of Beryl moves to the east, Marando said.
