In a tragic hit-and-run incident in Maharashtra, a 23-year-old man lost his life after being struck by an unidentified vehicle in Nagpur city, as confirmed by the local police on Tuesday.
The fatal accident occurred at approximately 11:20 pm on Sunday along the Katol Road bypass, according to the in-charge of Gittikhadan police station. Unfortunately, there were no CCTV cameras in the vicinity of the accident site to capture the incident.
The victim, identified as Rahul Khairwar and originally hailing from Madhya Pradesh, succumbed to his injuries as a result of the collision.
An investigation has been launched, and a case has been registered against the unidentified perpetrator, as authorities work towards identifying and apprehending the responsible individual.

This unfortunate incident comes in the wake of another recent hit-and-run tragedy in Mumbai’s Worli area, where a woman tragically lost her life after being struck by a speeding BMW car while riding a two-wheeler. The car reportedly dragged her for a distance of 1 km before running over her and fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the case, while efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the main suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run.
