A 71-year-old man tragically lost his life in a fatal crash while riding his motorcycle in Lake Elsinore on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. near the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Avenue Six, as reported by the Riverside County Sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered a collision involving a motorcycle and a car. The impact of the crash resulted in the motorcyclist being thrown from his bike. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the victim, identified as Nicholas Keim by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. It has been determined that drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the tragic incident.
