Over the weekend, a man was arrested by a State Trooper in Montgomery County for driving at a speed exceeding 100 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone. The incident took place on State Route 4, where the driver was caught going 114 mph by a trooper with the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The driver was apprehended on suspicion of impaired driving, according to the troopers who made the arrest. This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of excessive speeding and driving under the influence.

It is not uncommon for law enforcement to crack down on reckless driving during holiday weekends. Last year, over the Fourth of July holiday, troopers arrested 138 motorists for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).

Driving under the influence and speeding are serious offences that can have devastating consequences. It is important for all motorists to obey traffic laws and drive responsibly to ensure the safety of themselves and others on the road.
