COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has revealed the identity of the teenager who lost their life in a tragic shooting incident at Woodland Terrace Apartments on Thursday, July 4.
According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim has been named as Dives Evans, a 17-year-old resident of Columbia. The Columbia Police Department has confirmed that a 16-year-old suspect is facing charges in connection with the isolated fatal shooting.
“We are committed to collaborating closely with the Columbia Police Department to conduct a thorough investigation into this tragic incident,” Coroner Rutherford stated.
