A man in Tigard, Oregon, has been accused of stabbing another man multiple times at the Tigard Transit Center on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just after 9:30 a.m. when authorities were alerted to a disturbance involving a weapon at the transit center located at 8960 Southwest Commercial Street. According to the police, two men were engaged in a physical altercation, during which one of them allegedly stabbed the other several times before fleeing the scene.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, medical personnel have indicated that the victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
Following the incident, law enforcement officers collaborated with witnesses and TriMet officials to gather information about the suspect. Subsequently, it was discovered that the suspect had boarded another bus headed towards Sherwood. Police were able to track down and apprehend the suspect in Sherwood.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Diego Armando Gonzalez-Hernandez. He has since been taken into custody and booked into the Washington County Jail. Gonzalez-Hernandez is facing charges of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, harassment, interfering with making a report, as well as an outstanding arrest warrant.
