A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in Utah County, where a 53-year-old man lost his life in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Skyline Drive, a remote area located east of Indianola and west of Scofield Reservoir.
Authorities from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, accompanied by the search and rescue team, Spanish Fork first responders, and a medical helicopter. Upon arrival, CPR was already in progress, and the injured man was swiftly airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, the man, identified as Clifford Ralph Hokanson from Kaysville, succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital. The exact circumstances of the ATV crash have not been disclosed by officials.
