Charlotte, N.C. – Ana Consuelos, a 27-year-old woman, has been taken into custody for her alleged involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident that took place on W.T. Harris Blvd back in May, as per a police report.

According to the report, Consuelos allegedly struck a pedestrian on East W.T. Harris Boulevard between The Plaza and North Sharon Amity Road during the early hours of May 19 and fled the scene.

The victim, identified as 57-year-old Wade Burch, tragically lost his life and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
A warrant for Consuelos’ arrest was issued on July 3, and she was subsequently apprehended on July 8. She is now facing charges of felony hit-and-run resulting in a fatality.
This incident has left the local community shocked and saddened by the loss of a beloved member. The authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
