A 17-year-old Tennessee boy has been arrested for the murder of a 17-year-old girl who was found dead along the side of a road in Hendersonville on Wednesday. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed by the Hendersonville Police Department, has been charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held in Sumner County Detention.
Trinity Bostic, the victim in this tragic case, was reported missing in nearby Macon County on June 29. The Tennessee Department of Transportation subcontractor discovered human remains while picking up trash on Wednesday, and these remains were later confirmed to be those of Bostic on Friday.
Authorities have expressed suspicion of foul play in Bostic’s death but have not released any additional details regarding the investigation. The case remains ongoing, with law enforcement urging anyone with information to come forward.
