Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a distressing and appalling incident, a man in Pakistan’s Tharushah city has been apprehended for the heinous act of burying his 15-day-old daughter alive. The father, identified as Tayyab, confessed to committing this abominable deed due to financial constraints that prevented him from affording medical treatment for his infant daughter. Tayyab admitted to placing the newborn in a sack before burying her, as reported by Pakistani media outlet ARY News.

Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against Tayyab, who has acknowledged his guilt to the police. In accordance with a court directive, the child’s grave will be excavated for a forensic assessment, including postmortem examinations.
In a separate incident in Lahore’s Defence B area, a couple subjected a 13-year-old domestic worker to severe mistreatment, including stripping and physical abuse. Following a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, Tahreem, law enforcement promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused, Hassam. Hassam has been taken into custody in connection with the incident, while efforts to apprehend his wife are currently underway.
The FIR detailed the victim, Tehreem, enduring continuous physical harm, including being forcibly stripped, allegedly on suspicions of theft. Tehreem’s mother stated in the FIR that her daughter sustained fractures to her hand and nose during the traumatic ordeal. Following a medical evaluation, Tehreem was released into her mother’s care. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt has assured that the perpetrators responsible for these despicable acts against Tehreem will be promptly brought to justice.
