Sangareddy: A tragic incident unfolded in Madhavpuri Colony, under the jurisdiction of Ameenpur police station, where a 30-year-old woman, employed at a software firm, was discovered lifeless in her residence. The deceased, identified as Rina, had ingested a staggering 130 sleeping pills.
The distressing discovery was made on Monday morning when Rina failed to wake up. Having gone through a divorce a few years back, she resided with her parents while telecommuting for the software company.
Rina had been battling depression for some time and had been prescribed medication by her doctor. Tragically, she consumed the fatal dose of pills on Sunday night before going to bed, leading to her untimely demise while asleep.
The Ameenpur police have initiated an investigation into the matter and have registered a case. Following the necessary procedures, the body has been transferred to the Area Hospital in Patancheru for postmortem examination.
