Fort Fairfield, Maine (WAGM) – In a shocking turn of events, two teenagers from Presque Isle are facing serious charges following a hit and run incident that left a man critically injured on Saturday night.

According to reports received by Fort Fairfield Police, the incident began with multiple complaints about a vehicle speeding through the streets of Presque Isle and engaging in reckless behavior, including chasing other vehicles.

The situation escalated when the vehicle came to a stop at a local convenience store, leading to a heated verbal altercation between the occupants of the vehicle and other individuals present at the scene.

As law enforcement authorities arrived at the scene, the suspect vehicle fled, ultimately striking a pedestrian in the process.

Identified as the individuals inside the vehicle were 18-year-old Noah Sirois and 19-year-old Landon MacDougal, both residents of Presque Isle.

Noah Sirois now faces a slew of charges, including operating under the influence, elevated aggravated assault, terrorizing, and reckless conduct with a motor vehicle, among others.

Landon MacDougal, the other teenager involved, is also facing multiple charges in connection with the incident.

The pedestrian who was struck by the vehicle was rushed to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with severe, life-threatening injuries.
