Accident – Death – Obituary News : Three individuals were injured in a shooting incident that took place on June 30, with one victim sustaining life-threatening wounds. The incident occurred at the 812 Outdoor Market in southeast Austin, along FM 812.

Following reports of multiple gunshots heard in the market’s parking lot, deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the scene. After conducting interviews with witnesses, law enforcement officials identified the primary suspect as 55-year-old Felipe Saucedo-Rodriguez.

According to court documents obtained by local news outlet KVUE, the shooting stemmed from an altercation between two families inside the flea market, possibly triggered by a dispute over an ex-girlfriend. Witnesses described Saucedo-Rodriguez as being enraged, physically assaulting one of the victims before security personnel intervened.

Reports suggest a long-standing feud between the two families, originating from their time in Mexico. The affidavit further reveals that Saucedo-Rodriguez retrieved a pistol from his black Toyota pickup truck and waited in the parking lot to confront the victims. Subsequently, he opened fire, injuring three individuals.

The severity of the injuries varied, with one victim suffering life-threatening wounds to the head and torso, while the other two sustained gunshot wounds to the leg and wrist. Saucedo-Rodriguez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently held in Travis County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Authorities are still on the lookout for a second suspect, identified as 30-year-old Luis Felipe Saucedo-Rojas. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers.
