Accident – Death – Obituary News : Kellogg, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester woman was among three individuals who were transported to a local hospital following a collision in Wabasha County. The incident involved two vehicles and occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and County Rd. 18 near Kellogg.

According to reports from the State Patrol, the crash took place shortly before 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. The collision involved a southbound Audi driven by 45-year-old Lauren Lizbeth Lafond from Minneapolis and an eastbound Chevy. The passenger in the Audi was identified as 20-year-old Evelyn Carol Kastner from Rochester. The Chevy was driven by 25-year-old Rachel Ann Murphy from Stillwater.
Fortunately, all three individuals involved in the crash, who were wearing seatbelts at the time, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. Alcohol was ruled out as a factor in the collision.
In response to the accident, the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department, Kellogg Fire Department, and a tow truck were dispatched to the scene. The authorities worked diligently to ensure the safety of those involved and to clear the area efficiently.
