WIGGINS, Miss. (WLOX) – Authorities in Wiggins are on the lookout for suspects following a disturbing incident of vandalism at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Hall Street. Chief Jeff Thomas revealed on Sunday that the church was targeted by unknown perpetrators.
Members of the church arrived on Sunday morning to find the building defaced with graffiti and evidence of an attempted arson attack. Chief Thomas confirmed that the vandalism was discovered just before morning services were set to begin.
