Fatal Crash in Bedford County Under Investigation by Virginia State Police
A tragic two-vehicle collision in Bedford County, Virginia has claimed the life of a 52-year-old man, as reported by Virginia State Police.

The incident took place on Hardy Road, just south of Turner Branch Road, at approximately 5:10 p.m.
According to VSP, a 2022 Honda Accord was travelling south on Hardy Road when it veered across the centre line and collided head-on with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.

The Honda driver, identified as 52-year-old Bryant Whitby from Moneta, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was rushed to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The 18-year-old driver of the Chevrolet, also wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital for treatment of crash-related injuries.
