A teenager from Madison has been taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting that took place on Miller Boulevard on Wednesday. The Madison Police Department has confirmed that the victim, identified as 18-year-old Brian Wiggins Jr. from Decatur, lost his life in the incident.
Following the tragic event, law enforcement officers executed search and arrest warrants at a residence in Madison on Saturday. Subsequently, 18-year-old Christopher Saam was arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the case.
Christopher Saam has been transported to the Madison County Jail pending further legal proceedings. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, and authorities are unable to disclose additional information at this point.
