HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) – Authorities in Tennessee have confirmed that the human remains discovered in Hendersonville belong to Trinity Bostic, a 17-year-old girl who had been reported missing from Macon County.
Trinity’s remains were found by a Tennessee Department of Transportation subcontracted worker on Wednesday, located in a wooded area along Vietnam Veterans Boulevard. The initial discovery was made while the worker was collecting trash along the roadway, according to Hendersonville police.
Trinity was reported missing on June 29 from Macon County, sparking a search effort that has now tragically ended with the discovery of her remains.
Authorities in Hendersonville have indicated that foul play is suspected in Trinity’s case. The investigation is ongoing, and details surrounding the incident are being closely guarded to maintain the integrity of the case.
