In a heartbreaking incident in Aliganj, Lucknow, a one-year-old girl named Shivanshi lost her life after being tragically run over by a speeding car. The incident occurred on Thursday night while Shivanshi was sitting outside her house with other children.
The young child sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to KGMU Trauma Centre with the help of the car driver. Unfortunately, Shivanshi was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. The driver was apprehended by family members at the trauma centre and handed over to the police.
Shivanshi’s family, including her parents Amit Kumar and Manshi, and her siblings Aman and Krishna, were left devastated by the tragic turn of events. The accident took place around 9.30 pm when the driver, identified as Sandeep Pandey, was reportedly driving the car in reverse gear in a hurry, leading to the fatal collision.
Witnesses described the heart-wrenching scene as Shivanshi’s mother, Manshi, screamed and fainted upon seeing her daughter’s condition. The community rallied around the grieving family, with nearby residents capturing the driver and ensuring Shivanshi received immediate medical attention.
