Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a thorough investigation into a tragic shooting incident that claimed the life of a young man on Friday night in Wrens, UK.

The incident occurred around 10:55 p.m. on Friday when deputies were alerted to a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds and was being treated at a local hospital. The victim, identified as 16-year-old Sadiq Brown, tragically passed away at 11:34 p.m. that same night.
Initial findings suggest that the shooting occurred in the parking lot of 2622 Peach Orchard Road, known as A Town Wings. Reports indicate that Brown was shot at least once before being rushed to Piedmont Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
In response to the incident, the RCSO has dispatched a team of investigators to the scene to collect evidence and interview witnesses. At this stage, the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no suspects have been identified.
As part of the ongoing inquiry, an autopsy has been scheduled to ascertain the precise cause and manner of Brown’s untimely death. Further updates will be shared with the public as soon as they become available.
