Authorities in Stark County, Ohio, have made a grim discovery in the case of a missing woman, as a body believed to be that of 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan was found. The Stark County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a missing person on July 2nd, leading them to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive in Plain Township.

After an extensive search of Sheridan’s home and the surrounding area, she was entered into the national missing persons database. During the investigation, deputies spotted a Jeep registered to Sheridan on Guilford Ave, leading to a traffic stop.

The driver of the Jeep, identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe, attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended after a night-long search. Goe, who is Sheridan’s boyfriend, was found to have active warrants for Burglary, Grand Theft of a Firearm, and Domestic Violence.

Goe is currently being held at the Stark County Jail on a $1 million bond. The investigation took a dark turn when Canton Sanitation workers discovered a body believed to be Sheridan’s in a park on the morning of July 3.

A search warrant was executed at the couple’s apartment, where detectives determined that Sheridan had been murdered inside. The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with further details expected to emerge.
