Authorities in Stark County, Ohio, made a grim discovery on July 3rd when a body believed to be that of missing 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan was found in a park. The tragic find came after deputies from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive in Plain Township on July 2nd to investigate Sheridan’s disappearance.
Boyfriend Arrested
During the investigation, deputies spotted a Jeep registered to Sheridan driving in the area. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe, attempted to flee on foot when deputies initiated a traffic stop. Goe, who is believed to be Sheridan’s boyfriend, was apprehended the following morning at a homeless shelter.
Goe was arrested on several charges, including Burglary, Grand Theft of a Firearm, and Domestic Violence. He is currently being held at the Stark County Jail on a bond of $1 million.
Apartment Searched
Following Goe’s arrest, a search warrant was executed at the apartment Sheridan shared with him. Detectives determined that Sheridan had been murdered inside the apartment, adding a chilling dimension to the investigation.
