In the early hours of the morning, two men were injured in a shooting incident that took place in a Pittsburgh neighbourhood. Public safety officials were alerted to the situation and quickly responded to the scene on Brushton Avenue in Homewood South at around 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had been wounded in the incident. One of the men had suffered a graze wound, while the other had been shot in the arm. Both individuals were promptly transported to nearby hospitals and are currently in stable condition.
Further investigation led authorities to a crime scene located several blocks away on Bennett Street. In response, officers proceeded to secure and process evidence at the scene, with the Violent Crime Unit detectives now actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
