Jenifer Hirl : “Milton Woman Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Chase”

Milton, DE – Delaware State Police have apprehended 30-year-old Jenifer Hirl of Milton for a series of violations following a high-speed pursuit in a stolen Acura on July 4th.

At around 5:19 PM, troopers were notified of a stolen Acura ATL from New Jersey, being tracked electronically while travelling southbound on Coastal Highway near Milton. The vehicle was eventually spotted on West Randor Drive, where law enforcement officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. However, the driver of the stolen Acura failed to comply and continued to lead authorities on a chase through several local streets before eventually returning to West Randor Drive and coming to a stop.

The driver, identified as Jenifer Hirl, tried to walk away from the vehicle but was swiftly apprehended after a brief altercation. Troopers noticed signs of impairment and proceeded to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

Following her arrest, Hirl was taken to Troop 7, where she was officially charged with multiple offences. Subsequently, she was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $7,900 cash bond.
