Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a recent incident at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), a 29-year-old woman, identified as Indra Rajwar from Pune, allegedly made a hoax call to the airport’s helpline in an attempt to stop her boyfriend from flying to Mumbai. The woman claimed that her boyfriend, Mir Raza Mehdi, had a bomb in his bag, prompting a swift response from airport authorities.

Upon receiving the call, airport security immediately located Mehdi at the airport and conducted a thorough search. Fortunately, no explosives were found, and the incident was deemed a “non-specific call.” It was later revealed that Rajwar and Mehdi had booked tickets on separate flights to Mumbai and were at the airport together before the hoax call was made.
The police have since registered a case and filed an FIR against Rajwar under IPC Section 505(1)(B) for making statements conducive to public mischief. Rajwar was detained and taken to the KIA police station, where she admitted to making the hoax call out of personal differences with Mehdi.
