Rewari, 6th July (PTI) – A tragic incident unfolded in Jaliyawas village in Rewari as a 35-year-old man, identified as Dinesh, was fatally shot after a heated argument with a group of men. The incident, which occurred on Friday night, has left the community in shock and mourning.
The altercation began near Dinesh’s shop, where he engaged in a dispute with three men – Shiv, Suni, and Amit – over an unspecified issue. Although the initial argument seemed to have subsided when the three men left, they returned later accompanied by two other individuals. This time, the confrontation escalated into a physical altercation.
According to a complaint lodged by the victim’s father, Shiv brandished a pistol and fired at Dinesh, causing him to collapse. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Dinesh succumbed to his injuries. The timing of the incident is particularly poignant, as it was Dinesh’s birthday on the same day.
Law enforcement authorities have taken swift action by registering a case against the five accused individuals under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act. Police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
