The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is on the lookout for a man they believe holds vital information regarding the tragic death of a teenage boy in Maple Ridge. The incident, which took place six months ago, left the community in shock and the victim’s family grieving for justice.

Sergeant Timothy Pierotti’s Statement

Sgt. Timothy Pierotti expressed the team’s unwavering commitment to seeking justice for the 18-year-old victim. The young boy was found with gunshot wounds at the scene of a collision in the 22200-block of 123 Avenue. Despite efforts to save him, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on January 25.

Details of the Incident

Shortly after the shooting, Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to reports of a vehicle on fire just two kilometres away from the initial scene. Investigators believe that the burning vehicle is linked to the fatal shooting, adding a layer of mystery to the case.

Appeal to the Public

On July 5, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team released a video and a photograph of a person of interest captured in a store in Mission B.C. shortly before the murder. The individual, believed to be in his 20s, is described as a Caucasian man with light brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black pants with a red accent on the left leg and a grey Vans hoodie embellished with a ‘Get out and get lost’ logo. Sgt. Pierotti urged the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the investigation.
