The altercation took place in the bus bay area of Jane Station, located near Jane and Bloor streets. According to reports, an argument between the suspect and Rumble began on a TTC bus and escalated once they exited the bus at the station. The confrontation turned physical, and during the altercation, the suspect stabbed Rumble.
Rumble was rushed to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The suspect fled the scene on foot accompanied by an unidentified female.

Tefai Silva Opoku-Boadu, a 22-year-old resident of Kitchener, has been charged with second-degree murder. Mackenzie Hargrave, a 19-year-old from Warminster, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
