Officials in Pearl River County have now confirmed the identity of the individual who tragically lost their life in a fatal crash on Highway 13.
The devastating incident occurred late on Thursday night, shortly after 11:30 p.m. A Jeep Wrangler travelling southbound collided with a northbound 2023 Toyota Camry, driven by 23-year-old Jocelin Sanchez from Tylertown.
Tragically, Sanchez sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the cause.
