Marshall County Police apprehended a South Bend resident on July 2nd for operating a vehicle with an Indiana ID Card.

On Tuesday evening around 6:30, a K-9 Deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop at the BP Gas Station in Argos. The driver, identified as Houston Anderson, aged 31, was driving the vehicle.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that Anderson was driving with a Suspended – Prior status on his Indiana Regular Identification Card. Consequently, he was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Anderson was charged with driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Subsequently, a $500 cash bond was posted for Anderson’s release, and he was freed a few hours later.

It is important for readers to note that the aforementioned charging information, supported by an affidavit of probable cause, is an allegation of a crime and indicates only probable cause for believing that a crime has been committed.
