During their investigations, the police managed to obtain footage of the suspected vehicle linked to the crime, which was also reportedly involved in a drive-by shooting near 13th and West streets shortly after Gonzalez’s tragic death.

The following day, officers responded to another shooting incident in the 300 block of East Northern Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. Two women were found injured at the scene, with Masias being taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later passed away.
