MORGAN COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) – Tragedy struck in Colorado as four individuals lost their lives in a devastating crash involving a Polaris RZR.
The Colorado State Patrol received reports of the incident on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. The crash occurred on Morgan County Road C near Morgan County Road 31.
Investigations revealed that the Polaris RZR was carrying four individuals at the time of the accident. The other vehicle involved was a Ram 5500.
According to a statement released by the Colorado State Patrol, “The Polaris entered the intersection from the northbound direction, failing to yield at the posted stop sign. It then collided with the Ram, which was travelling westbound.”
Tragically, all occupants of the Polaris lost their lives at the scene of the crash, as confirmed by state police.
Reports from the Associated Press indicated that two young children, aged 1 and 2 years old, were among the victims who perished in the accident.
The driver of the Ram sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The Morgan County Coroner is expected to release the identities of the deceased individuals following proper protocols.
