BARIPADA: In a shocking incident, Badasahi police apprehended a 35-year-old man for the brutal murder of a 72-year-old woman in Mayurbhanj district. The accused, Babuli Mohakud from Nischintapur village, stands accused of ending the life of Gouri Behera, a fellow resident of the same village.
According to reports, the gruesome incident took place in broad daylight, with Mohakud reportedly under the influence of ganja when he carried out the heinous act. Eyewitnesses claim that Mohakud, armed with an axe, approached Behera as she sat by the roadside and proceeded to sever her head from her body in a fit of rage.
