Authorities in Stratford have apprehended a 14-year-old boy who is accused of trespassing on private properties and breaking into a home in a residential neighbourhood.

According to reports, the incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, with the initial sighting of the teen occurring on Bradshaw Drive in the northwest area of Stratford. The suspect was reportedly seen moving between houses and through backyards at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Another report was made the following day at 2:30 a.m., with witnesses claiming the teenager was peering into windows of residences on Bradshaw Drive before fleeing towards Briarhill Drive.

Fortunately, no belongings were taken, and no harm was inflicted on the occupants of the home. The individual in question was initially believed to be in their late teens or early 20s based on surveillance footage, but community tips led to the identification of the teenager, who was promptly arrested on Thursday afternoon.

The suspect was conveyed to the local police headquarters and charged with break and enter as well as trespassing by night.
