On Thursday, July 4, members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the 11200 block of Thackeray Lane in White Plains, leading to the apprehension of three individuals. The property where the search warrant was served had been a source of ongoing complaints within the Stonehaven Community, as stated by the sheriff’s office.

The individuals arrested and charged in connection with the shooting incident were Spencer Jacari Moore, 20, of White Plains; Jenboi Moore, 19, of White Plains; and Stephen Jacari Williams, 19, of Forestville. The Moores were identified as the primary suspects in the shooting, and they were found inside the residence along with Williams.

During the search, law enforcement recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine, a “switch” – an illegal device that can convert a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic machine gun, and a loaded AR-style pistol. Subsequent investigations revealed that Williams was prohibited from possessing firearms, and during the search, one of the Moore brothers allegedly spat at a detective.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office assisted in the investigation, seizing several cases of fireworks and charging Spencer Moore with illegal possession of regulated fireworks. Spencer Moore was charged with first-degree burglary, six counts of first-degree assault, and six counts of reckless endangerment. Jenboi Moore faced charges of attempted first-degree burglary, six counts of first-degree assault, six counts of reckless endangerment, and assault for spitting on the detective. Williams was charged with illegal possession of firearms, which he was prohibited from having.
