The tragic incident took place at Kempapura Hebbal, with Roy attempting to prevent Barman from entering the campus. The altercation escalated, leading to Barman fatally stabbing Roy in the chest. Despite efforts by witnesses to rush Roy to the hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
