A woman from Fort Worth is facing a murder charge following the discovery of a deceased man inside a plastic storage container last month, as confirmed by the local police department.
Authorities from the Fort Worth Police Department released a statement to The Dallas Morning News on Wednesday, revealing that officers responded to a call on June 5 in the 3300 block of McCandless Street. Upon arrival, they found the body of a man identified as 52-year-old Dwight Deon Hood lying in the roadway. It was later determined that Hood’s body had been placed inside a plastic storage container that was dumped in the area.
Following the discovery, homicide detectives launched an investigation that led to the arrest of 52-year-old Tisha Dawn Hulsey on Monday night. Hulsey was taken into custody and booked at the Fort Worth city jail. As of now, it remains unclear if she has obtained legal representation.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner website indicated that the cause and manner of Hood’s death were still pending as of Wednesday night.
The Fort Worth Police Department has confirmed that the investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
