Savannah, Missouri (Gray News) – The community of Savannah, Missouri, is coming together to honour the memory of K-9 officer Horus, who tragically passed away after being left in a hot car. Chief David Vincent of the Savannah Police Department confirmed the heartbreaking news that K-9 Horus lost his life on June 20 after being inadvertently left in a vehicle following an overnight shift.

In a touching display of respect and remembrance, community members gathered at an unmarked gravesite dedicated to K-9 Horus. They paid their respects by leaving flowers and other tokens of remembrance, as reported by KQTV. The outpouring of support and grief from the community highlights the impact that K-9 Horus had on those around him.

The tragic incident has sparked outrage and questioning among many, with social media platforms buzzing with demands for answers and justice.
