A 24-year-old woman from Greenfield, MA, Yanassis Ruiz, has been accused of assisting in the theft of a vehicle on Route 5 in South Windsor last year, according to South Windsor police.
Ruiz faces charges of conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle and second-degree failure to appear. The charges stem from an incident in April 2023, where she allegedly conspired with two other individuals to steal a motor vehicle by intentionally crashing into it on Route 5, causing the driver to exit the vehicle.
