PLAIN, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a suspect in connection with the disappearance of a young woman from Plain Township.
Authorities were summoned to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive Northwest just after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday to assist in the search for 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan. Unfortunately, Sheridan was not found in the residence or the surrounding vicinity. During the investigation, deputies spotted a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered to Sheridan, driving on Guilford Avenue Northwest. They attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Upon making brief contact with the driver, identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe of Plain Township, he absconded from the scene. Deputies pursued him and even deployed a K-9 unit to track him down, but Goe managed to evade capture.
Goe is currently wanted for questioning regarding Sheridan’s disappearance and is also sought in connection with multiple felony warrants, one of which is for domestic violence. The public is urged to contact the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at (330) 430-3800 with any information on the whereabouts of Goe or Sheridan.
