State police seek suspect in Hardwick stabbing.
Accident – Death – Obituary News : New Jersey State Police are currently on the lookout for a 23-year-old man suspected of being involved in a stabbing incident that took place in Hardwick late Tuesday evening. Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the individual in question.

According to a statement released by State Police, the incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. when troopers were dispatched to a residence on Meadow Cliff Lane in Hardwick Township following reports of a stabbing. The location of the incident is in close proximity to White Lake in Hardwick and borders Stillwater Township in Sussex County.
The suspect, identified as Nelson Ariel Orellana-Vargas, managed to flee the scene before law enforcement arrived. Orellana-Vargas is described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a black T-shirt featuring a dragon motif along with jeans.
Residents of Sussex County have been urged to exercise caution by the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, which issued warnings regarding the ongoing search for the suspect through phone calls and text messages via the mass notification system. The suspect was last seen on foot in the area.
Individuals with any information regarding the whereabouts of Nelson Ariel Orellana-Vargas are encouraged to contact the State Police Troop B Hope Station at 908-459-5098. Anonymous tips are also welcomed and can be submitted to the authorities.
