ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) – Authorities in Georgia are investigating the disappearance of a man as a homicide after his body was found in a parked pickup truck.
Gwinnett County police discovered the body of Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez during the early hours of Wednesday in the Lawrenceville area.
The police received a call to check on a parked truck at around 12:30 a.m., where they found Rodriguez’s body inside the vehicle.
Rodriguez’s wife had reported him missing on Monday when he failed to return home after leaving in his truck earlier that day.

While the authorities have not disclosed the cause of Rodriguez’s death, they have confirmed that it is being treated as a homicide and are urging anyone with information to contact them at 770-513-5300.
