MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A 36-year-old man from Mobile has been apprehended and is currently being held at the Mobile County Metro Jail on charges of first-degree robbery, as per jail records.
The suspect, identified as Cory More, was taken into custody by the Mobile Police Department for his alleged involvement in two separate armed robberies that occurred on Monday evening. Following investigations, More was arrested on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the first incident took place at approximately 8:44 p.m. on Monday at the BP station located at 5473 Old Shell Road. The suspect reportedly brandished a handgun towards the cashier, demanding money before fleeing the scene on foot.
Less than an hour later, another armed robbery was reported at the Chevron station situated at 3365 Moffett Road. In this instance, the suspect again demanded money from the cashier before making his escape.

Police have commended the swift action taken in apprehending the suspect, ensuring the safety of the community and bringing a resolution to the alarming incidents of armed robberies in the area.
