WASHINGTON — An investigation is underway following a fatal stabbing incident that occurred in Southeast DC on Monday. The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Alfred Fields.
Authorities were alerted to the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace shortly before 6:45 p.m. in response to reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Fields lying on the street with stab wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
At present, no suspect information has been disclosed by the police. Investigators are actively piecing together the sequence of events that led to this fatal stabbing.
