The Olean Police Department had a busy weekend with a number of arrests and charges filed against individuals in the area. Here is a breakdown of the incidents:

Friday, 9:34 p.m.

Stephen L. Collins, a 36-year-old resident of Olean, found himself in trouble with the law as he was charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, both of which are class A misdemeanors. In addition to these charges, Collins was also arrested on an outstanding bench warrant and was subsequently transported to the Salamanca Police Department for another bench warrant out of the City of Salamanca.

Scot Kohl-Sol, a 43-year-old Olean resident, was arrested on a warrant that charged him with second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor, as well as motor vehicle registration suspended, an unclassified misdemeanor. Kohl-Sol was held in custody pending arraignment.

Wellsville Police Incidents

Mickey A. Murphy, 33 years old and from Wellsville, was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. Murphy was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

Stephen W. Hamer, a 33-year-old from Wellsville, faced charges of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. He was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

Melissa A. Farley, a 41-year-old Wellsville resident, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny (both class A misdemeanors), and trespass, a violation. Farley was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

New York State Police Reports

HINSDALE

Anna Tredo, 38, from Cuba, was charged at 9:44 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor. Tredo was released on their own recognizance.

CARROLLTON

Scot Kohl-Sol, now 44 years old and from Cuba, faced charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Kohl-Sol was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

PERSIA

Donald J. Pfaffenbach, a 42-year-old resident of Forestville, was charged at 12:18 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor. Pfaffenbach was released on their own recognizance.

WIRT

A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:26 p.m. on Sunday on Allentown Road near Clark Road. The drivers, Bryon P. Pilon, 29, from Bolivar, and Zackary A. McMillen, 24, from Allentown, were identified. Two individuals were reported injured in the accident.

AMITY

Brian H. Hadden, a 44-year-old resident of Ceres, was charged at 8:50 p.m. on Sunday with third-degree criminal tampering, a class B misdemeanor. Hadden was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
