Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Authorities in Strongs Prairie, Adams County, are currently investigating the deaths of a 62-year-old woman and her 37-year-old son as homicides. The bodies of Sharon K. Miller, also known as Sharon Miller-Robinson, and her son, Jami L. Lumby, were discovered last week, leading to a thorough investigation by law enforcement officials.

Following autopsies conducted on Monday, preliminary findings indicated that both deaths were the result of homicide, as confirmed by a news release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was initiated after Miller was reported missing by a concerned caller who had been unable to reach her for three days. Upon visiting her residence in Strongs Prairie, the caller discovered that neither Miller nor Lumby were present. Subsequent inspection of the property revealed signs of disturbed ground, suggestive of a recent burial. A search warrant was obtained, leading to the discovery of an adult body on the premises.

By Sunday, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office officially identified the body as that of Miller. Additionally, a second body, later identified as Lumby, was found at the scene.

At present, no suspects have been named in the case, with law enforcement officials collaborating with the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory to further their investigation. Anyone who had recent contact with Miller or Lumby, or who noticed any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the 1600 block of Czech Drive in Friendship, is urged to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation are assisting the Adams County Sheriff\’s Office in collecting and analysing evidence, as well as conducting interviews. Additional information will be released as the investigation progresses.
