Accident – Death – Obituary News : On the evening of Friday, November 10, 2023, Hamilton Police were called to the scene of a shooting at 640 Queenston Road in Hamilton. A 22-year-old man from Hamilton was found in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, which have had a lasting impact on his life.

As the investigation into the attempted murder unfolded, evidence of a conspiracy to commit murder unrelated to the initial shooting came to light. On April 4, 2024, Kamaldeep Dhaliwal, a resident of Hamilton, was arrested by the Hamilton Police Service Homicide Unit and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
Following further inquiries into the case, another individual involved in the conspiracy was identified as 27-year-old Michael Francis from Niagara Falls. Michael Francis appeared in court on Friday, June 28, 2024, also facing charges of Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to identify any additional co-conspirators involved in the plot to commit murder.
