Accident – Death – Obituary News : All seven individuals who were injured in the tragic shooting incident in Crete have now been discharged from hospitals, according to a statement released by the Nebraska State Patrol on Tuesday. The perpetrator, identified as 74-year-old Billy Booth, took his own life after firing shots from inside his residence at his neighbours, as confirmed by authorities.

The Nebraska State Patrol reported that there were approximately 15 people present both inside and outside the property at the time of the shooting, with most of the victims being outdoors when they were targeted. Six of the victims were swiftly transported from the scene, while another individual sought medical attention later on.

Following the provision of medical assistance to the victims, law enforcement swiftly established a perimeter around the area and discovered Booth with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, along with a shotgun in close proximity. Once the investigation is concluded, the findings will be submitted to the Saline County Attorney for further action.
