Zahida : “Mother and Son Bodies Found After Several Days”

Residents of Federal B Area in Karachi were left in shock on Sunday after the mutilated bodies of a 60-year-old woman named Zahida and her 32-year-old son Tariq were discovered in their home. The gruesome scene, located within the jurisdiction of Joharabad police station, has sparked fear in the neighbourhood as authorities begin their investigation.

Upon receiving a tip-off, a team of police officers rushed to the residence and promptly transported the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined, with SHO Shauqat leading the probe into this heinous crime.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the lifeless body of a 63-year-old man named Babar was found in his room at a house in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13. Babar, who resided on the upper floor of the property while his brother Akbar occupied the ground floor, had not been seen by Akbar for several days.

Recalling the tragic discovery, SHO Aziz Bhatti Shahzad Ilyas shared that Akbar grew concerned about his brother’s prolonged absence and decided to check on him. It was then that he stumbled upon Babar’s lifeless body lying peacefully on his bed, bringing a wave of sorrow to the household.

As the investigations continue into these distressing incidents, the community remains on edge, grappling with the unsettling reality of violence within their midst.
