A 31-year-old woman from Billings has been taken into custody following an incident where a 38-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in north Billings. The Billings Police Department responded to a call at the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue North and discovered the victim with serious injuries.
The suspect, identified as Salina Twomoons, was apprehended by officers a few blocks away from the scene. In addition to the male victim, police also located a second individual who they believe was the target of Twomoons’ attempted stabbing.
Twomoons is facing allegations of two counts of assault with a weapon and partner family member assault, although formal charges have not yet been filed against her.
The incident has sparked concern among residents in the area, with many expressing shock at the violent nature of the attack. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter to determine the motive behind the alleged stabbing.
